What does having a TPT mastermind have to do with your business success? Our guest today, Jill Bensimhon, shares how her TPT business transformed after joining her TPT mastermind and how much she could grow from having other women who “get it.”
Jill is a prior kindergarten teacher who is now a stay-at-home mom that lives in Canada. Her background in teaching includes teaching in both English and French, which is reflected in her TPT store, and having a math focus because it is her favorite subject. She married the three things together by shifting her TPT business to focus on Kindergarten math resources offered in English and French.
Her TPT journey began in 2012 when she would sit on the couch making worksheets while watching tv and pop them up online with no real strategy. It wasn’t until the beginning of 2018 that Jill met someone who introduced her to the whole world of TPT, the Facebook groups, the community, and things she had no idea about. It lit a new fire under her to take the business more seriously, treat it like a business, and learn as much as possible to improve it.
In this episode, Jill shares her experiences in two different mastermind groups, how helpful having a TPT mastermind has been for her success and lots of tips for making your TPT mastermind successful for each member.
